The printmaking studios of the University of Hawaii at Manoa encompass over 6000 sq. feet, providing an expansive facility for all aspects of hand worked and photo generated printmaking.

The lithography studio is equipped with 3 presses, a 30" x 40" plate support, 50 stones with 6 accommodating images up to 24" x 30", extensive roller inventory, large graining sink, stone lift, and individual press ventilation.

The intaglio/relief studio utilizes three presses with a plate capacity of 30" x 44", 2 hot plates, fully vented 9' x 20' acid room with 4 acid bays and accommodating plates up to 24" x 36" for work in both zinc and copper, 4 large diameter viscosity rollers, 3 large scale rolling slabs, and a 30" x 44" x 18" stainless steel paper soaking sink.

The screenprinting workshop covers 3000 square feet, including ten 5' x 12' ft. printing tables, 50" x 80" inch vacuum table, pressure washer, large washout sinks for both exposure and reclaiming, 3 light tables, metal halide exposure room, lightproof screen storage room, and a 44" x 56" air compression screen stretcher.

The photo printmaking facility contains a 32" x 44" metal halide exposure unit, large format horizontal copy camera, and complete photo darkroom.
